9.00 am to 9.30 am: Welcome & intro

9.30 am to 12.30 pm: Workshops
Hot stamping, cold transfer, digital embellishment! Split up in groups we will visit 3 work stations to discover various decoration solutions KURZ offers. Let’s learn the differences, see the machines on the spot, interact with the specialists to not leave any question unanswered, and work hands-on.

12.30 pm to 1.30 m: Lunch break 
Time to reload the battery and digest the morning programme

BRAND DESIGN AT PUMA

1.30 pm to 2.30 pm: Speaker Jan Hippchen – Creative Director Brand Design, PUMA

Jan will talk about how he made his way to PUMA and into the role he holds today. You will hear about how PUMA Brand Design was born and how an idea has been turned into setting up an entire team dedicated to brand design. Jan will show some examples of how diverse the projects are he and his team are working on, and he will finish with a couple of case studies – from various areas of his work. You have remarks, ideas or questions? Let’s discuss with Jan.

A JOURNEY THROUGH THE RAW PENCIL PRODUCTION

3 pm to 5.30 pm: Henning Horn – previously Head of Corporate Design at Faber Castell – will be our host

Take a look behind the scenes of the wood-cased pencil production during a guided tour through the factory. You will be able to track the individual manufacturing steps and accompany the lead and coloured pencils on their journey through the raw pencil production, stamping, dip coating and sharpening.
